Sync & backups

Save ≠ Publish

Editing a form in the app and clicking Save stores the changes, but does not publish them to the store. To reach the storefront you must Sync.

Each form is published as a Shopify metaobject. The theme extension reads that metaobject to render the drawer.

Sync with Shopify

1. Save the form.
2. Click Sync now (or “Sync with Shopify”).
3. The sync runs in the background; reload to see the status.

On the form’s Settings tab you’ll see the status: Synced / Not synced and the last sync date.

Remember to sync after every change

If you change steps, prices or design and only save, the storefront keeps showing the previous version until you sync.

Form status

A form only appears on the store if it’s Active and Synced, and its product has the form assigned with the app embed enabled.

Backup & restore (JSON)

• Export form as JSON (Settings tab) — downloads the whole form config. Use it to back up or to copy the form to another store.
• Import from JSON (dashboard) — creates a new form from an exported file.

No data is deleted when you change plans; your forms stay on the store.
